Fro m segregation to integration: 25 years at Stamford Hill

The author examines the radical changes which have taken place in the concept, membership and organisation of the Jewish Blind Society Day Centre (for the visually handicapped) at Stamford Hill. Though these changes are deeply regretted by some, they were essential in view of new attitudes to the visually impaired and their position in society.
