Henshaw's: from School to Independence CentrePrincipal This article outlines the development of Henshaw's from a secondary modern school for blind pupils to a post-16 residential college for less able visually impaired students. It also describes briefly plans for the wider role of the college as a regional resource offering a range of support services.
