Why low vision rehabilitation should be given higher priorities: the complexity of the problem

A summary of a talk given at the Scottish National Federation for the Welfare of the Blind General Council Meeting on 24 September 1987, in Edinburgh. The conclusions reached are based on the personal experiences o f the author during his twenty years as a partially sighted low vision teacher and professional copywriter in Sweden.
