The teaching of music to primary children in schools for the visually handicapped compared with mainstream schools

This article is based on a dissertation submitted in part-fulfilment of the Diploma in Special Education (VH), Birmingham University. The article compares the teaching of music in the primary schools for the blind and partially sighted in the United Kingdom with a random selection of mainstream primary schools in Manchester.
