DOI: 10.1177/026461968500300205 Curriculum constraints for the visually handicapped child in fully integrated, u n it integrated, or special school settingsHead of Special Education Unit, Bartley Green School, Birmingham The following is a description and collation of the views given by 19 professionals involved in the education of pupils with special needs, who worked with Dr. M.J. Tobin on a course entitled 'Blind and Partially Sighted Children' at the Special Education Summer School organised by Cambridge Institute of Education, Girton College, July 1984. What is perhaps of greatest interest is that it represents the views of those who, while receptive to the needs of blind and partially sighted pupils, are still early in their experience of such children.
