DOI: 10.1177/0264619604046637 Terminology and the psychosocial burden of blindness29 Marsh Court, Maybank, Staffordshire, ST5 0TH UKbolt{at}wellofthesaints.freeserve.co.uk Various denotations and connotations of the word blindness are examined and the inference is drawn that they constitute a psychosocial burden that perpetuates prejudice.
