Hidden From Sight?: The Access of Multiply Disabled People to services for the Visually Impaired

Multiply disabled people with a visual impairment (MDVI) are often denied access to specialist services for the visually impaired (VI) both because their sight loss is not identified and because specialist VI workers are resistant about their competence in this field. This article assesses the current situation and discusses a way forward.
