Commentary: The Future of the Non-Maintained Special Schools for Visually Impaired Children

The maintained special school and Local Education Authority (LEA) provisions for blind and visually impaired children have not been working together as efficiently as they might. Peter Talbot and Liz Farbey outline a new role for the non-maintained special school sector and suggest how it might work more closely with LEAs.
