Mark Braithwaite

The following article is a shortened version of the paper given at the HUSITA Conference, Maastricht, 15-18 June 1993. The author describes a new regional initiative involving the RNIB Vocational College Outreach Service and a consortium of local Training and Enterprise Councils (TECs). The project aims to provide local visually impaired people, including those with a hearing impairment, with the option of well-resourced and integrated training.
